CANCELLATION POLICY

ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE CONFIRMED BY “AVGERINOS TRAVEL EXPERIENCE”

We always suggest a call, email or text the day prior to your tour
to ensure all your details are as they should be. It is not
οbligatory, but it helps.If confirmed standard departure tour/transfers bookings are cancelled the following fees apply:

• Cancellation more than 7 days before the start time: Full refund
• Cancellation 3-7 days before start time: 50% refund
• Cancellation 0 – 72
 hours before start time: No refund

“AVGERINOS TRAVEL EXPERIENCE” can cancel any tour/service at any time under the condition that fees paid will be returned to passengers that have paid said fees. In such a case, every effort will be made to assist the passenger with alternative arrangements.

Data We Collect

Online reservation procedure

Guests of third party websites are asked to give personal data in order to complete their online reservations. The data they are asked to give are upon the administrator – controller of the system.

Data given automatically

There are many instances that we get data automatically. Such data are: IP address, type of device, location, date and time of accessing our system, pages that are visited and clicked, from which website someone came to our system, browser that is used, software that is used in the device or computer.

Data given from other sources

Our booking engines are integrated with other websites (online wholesalers, Online Travel Agents, etc) who are giving data about completed reservations. The data are used from controllers (administrators) for managing purposes.

Data we share with others

We share the above personal data with third party systems for basic purposes of completing an online reservation. For example, we use a third party mail provider for security reasons (to avoid emails going to spam). Our systems are cloud and we use hosting services of Amazon.com (https://aws.amazon.com/security/) . In addition in some instances we share data with third party systems for managing or accounting purposes of the controller (administrator). Also we share data with banks and online payment gateways for successful secure transactions.

Health & Safety

During 2020 we were all faced with new challenges that arrived due to the pandemic of Covid-19. We would like to reassure our clients that we have taken all of the appropriate measures in order to protect our clients and our staff. We understand the importance of feeling safe when travelling and we are proud that our clients can feel confident that they can travel with us safely. We acted quickly and arranged for all members of staff to complete the seminar for hygienic protocols specially related to Covid, organised by the University of West Attica. All management and employees have the certification to verify their training. We routinely disinfect our vehicles on a daily basis with certified chemicals against Covid. We follow all rules imposed by the government regarding the driver passenger ratio per vehicle. We know how important holidays are, now more than ever, and we believe our clients can travel with us confidently and with peace of mind.
